The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs offers several cost-saving allowances towards the purchase of used handicap vans and mobility accessories, available only to qualified Veterans. We’ve taken some time to include this information below. VA Automobile Allowance for Veterans

*For those who qualify, The Veterans’ Administration (VA) offers a one-time grant payment of up to $18,900 for Veterans who meet certain, strict guidelines. The grant is paid directly to the seller of the automobile and the Service member or Veteran may only receive the automobile grant once in his/her lifetime. We encourage you to consult with your VA representative for additional information.

**If you have certain service-connected disabilities, you may also be eligible to receive up to two vehicle conversions every four years or one every two years. The VA also allows for the purchase of a pre-owned handicap van using their depreciation schedule for reimbursement.
